Chatanooga!

I didn't have to work last weekend - yeah!  So we went to Chatanooga, Tennessee.  There is a a lot of fun things to do there but we only had one afternoon so we went to the aquarium.  It was different than the Atlanta aquarium but awesome in different ways.  When you first go in it's kind of like an Amazon jungle with all kinds of cool fish, birds, and plants.

There was a butterfly room and Cater was patient enough to hold still and get a butterfly to land on him.

There were big fish tanks too of course.  Eli's favorite thing was the sturgeon petting area.  He stayed there and petted them forever, getting himself soaking wet.

Lydia became very attached to a stuffed shark in the gift shop.

Outside there were stairs that had water running down them.  Eli is pretending to be a robot in this picture.  He was cracking me up walking around all day off and on like a robot. It was so cute. We had a good little trip as a family and enjoyed getting away from our normal weekend routine.

Looks like another great place and a fun family outing. I'm not surprised that the butterfly trusted Carter enough to land on his hand. It could probably sense that he has a gentle heart and soul and it would be safe. Love that kid - and the rest of his family too!
