Kate turned 7 on Feb. 7! The years are just flying by - it's a little scary. She was just a new baby yesterday it seems. Kate was so excited to open her presents. She was more than happy to do the chore of cleaning up dinner so she could open her presents. That's maybe the only time any of the kids has ever volunteered to help and done so without complaint.
Kate received a new dress and shirt, Minnie Mouse book (that she wanted from the school book fair), and some stuffy My Little Ponies from Mom and Dad. Eli gave her a little pink turtle (thanks to Uncle Tan). Tanner gave her some Calico Critters and Grandma R. gave her some new outfits, some glasses (accessories since Kate loves to wear glasses), and two Beanie Boos (zebra and giraffe) that she's been wanting. Grandma and Papa B. sent money which Kate used to buy a stuffed seahorse at the Aquarium the next day.
Giving Eli a hug after opening the pink turtle.
Wearing her new fake glasses. She wears them all the time now.
Strawberry birthday cake per her request.

She is a lovely little lady! Where does the time go? We want them to stay little a bit longer but that just isn't the way it is suppose to be. Happy birthday darling Kate. Papa and Grandma B love you.
I miss you all so much, it hurts! I love the pictures and that cute, sweet Katers! I was talking to Debbye and she told me that Mallory had a butterfly cake too - isn't that so funny! Wish we could have had a picture with the two birthday girls and their butterfly cakes wearing their fake glasses! They definitely have a lot in common besides their birthday!
