The Braves!

But not the Atlanta Braves. Just the Gwinnett Braves which are like baby Braves.  They grow up on this "farm team" and then when they're all growed up, they get to be real Braves.  Whatever.  Anyway, Chad's work had a "retreat" wherein they paid for a suite so we got to eat all kinds of great food, sit in an air conditioned box and also have great seats to watch the game. But the great seats included a very not child friendly, low railing which induced all kinds of worry for me and visions of my children falling to their deaths over the balcony.  Or me tripping and falling to my death. Which, you know, could easily happen.  So luckily we all survived and had a good time.  The kids really had a blast and could not believe they could just like help themselves to popcorn, pretzels, oreos, hot dogs and soda. Which all added up equaled stomach aches and cavities.  Awesome.  I had lettuce.

Poor Lydia was so tired and so sweating to death in my arms.  Also, I am seriously considering shaving my head.

The mascot for the team is a big woodchuck named Chopper?  No really it is but a woodchuck?  Whatev.
Eli called it a beaver.  He was so intrigued/terrified and alternated between calling, "Hey Beaver!" and then running away.  Here he is getting up the courage to feed the beaver an oreo.  Chopper was actually really cute with the kids but Eli was hilarious.

Whenever they played the Braves song, you know the Indian song thing, the thing that is totally not politically correct.  You know right?  Eli really got into it.  So funny.

It must be quite the company that Chad is working for, right? Anyway, what a fun experience for you all, especially Eli, I think. And as to shaving your head - well, you have a nice shaped head, so do it, I wouldn't blame you!
