Kate took dancing lessons for the first time this spring. She really enjoyed them and learned a little bit of tap, ballet, and jazz. The studio she is going to is very focused on technique so the dance recital was not "cutesy" at all but it was fun to see our little tap dancer.

I'm so sad that I didn't get to see her recital . . . I hope she will show me her dance when you are here in a few weeks. She is such a pretty little girl, so sweet too. I'm sorry she had to have "tic surgery" today. Now you can tell her that she is like Grandma Whittier. She has a "tic surgery" story too!
