The kids started school bright and early on Wed, August 7. It's still strange to me to look outside and see it looking cold and stormy and then walk out and be blasted by hot and humid air. I'm just so used to needing a jacket. So, the kids are going to school in shorts and coming home all hot and sweaty!
Kate is a big First Grader and going all day for the first time is wearing her out, I think. She has been more emotional and a little unpredictable this week but hopefully she'll normalize soon!
Carter is a big Third Grader! He says he misses the Ray School but I think he just misses what is familiar. Hopefully he'll make some friends soon and love it here just as much.
