It was Lydia's half-birthday on Tuesday and Kate's today so we celebrated with half a birthday cake! (Thanks to my friend, Meg for the idea!)
Lydia reached out and grabbed some frosting. IT was hilarious because she tried to put it back and got more on her hand and then started screaming. I'm not sure if she was afraid she was in trouble or was worried about what was on her hand? Anyway, it was funny.

What a cute idea! It is always great to have an excuse to put candles in a cake...except when we get old. Happy half-birthday to a couple of lovely ladies!
Love the pictures - Kate is so beautiful and Lydia such a darling little one! They have a pretty nice Mom too. Your house looks so good!
