Today Eli is a Ninja Turtle.
He went to a friend's birthday party today which was a Ninja Turtle Theme and the mom had made these cute masks for everyone. Eli wore his all day. For real. In the house and then out. It was funny to see the people look at him and smile.
It was super hot but at least there was a breeze blowing so it wasn't too muggy. Eli and Carter were sweaty messes by the time we left and poor Lydia was all red. When she gets hot she just gets so pink all over. I took her over to the water fountains and wet her down to help her cool off since babies don't usually sweat to cool off and she was just over heating. They were having so much fun.
I'm so grateful to live in a place where there are so many really nice and fun parks. It will be even more fun in a couple of months when things cool off a little!

Oh Eli, what a funny little Ninja Turtle you are. It is always fun to play at the park even if it is hot and muggy.
It was nice of you to dress him in clothes to match his mask! Love that kid - all those beautiful, beautiful kids (and parents)!
