"Grandma and Grandpa Perkes" came to visit us last week from Logan. Carolyn and Gerald Perkes are my sister-in-law, Angie's, parents but they have always been so good to us and we are close to them. We were SO happy to see some familiar faces and be able to visit with them. They arrived on Saturday and left on Monday afternoon so we spent two very enjoyable days with them. We took them to see the Joseph Smith birthplace in Sharon, VT and took some pictures of the fall foliage. This year has not been a great year for the fall colors because of too much rain but we did get a few good pictures. We also went to the Sugarbush maple syrup and cheese farm and enjoyed tasting some delicious cheeses and syrup.
We loved having them here with us and hope they come again soon! Or anyone who can get here - we would love to have you too!
