Thanksgiving Weekend and Joseph Smith Memorial

We just kept on partying all weekend after Thanksgiving. On Friday, some friends (the Jones) invited us and some other families over to eat up leftover desserts and play games. The kids had playmates their own ages there and were just having so much fun. The adults we were with were also good company.
On Saturday, there was a nativity at the Joseph Smith Birthplace Memorial. It definitely isn't Temple Square but it was a fun evening. First they had the live nativity complete with live sheep and a donkey. Then they turned on all the lights and served cider and donuts in the visitor's center. The kids had a blast playing in the snow and Eli was just so happy to run up and down the sidewalk the whole time.

The best part of this whole post is the beautiful family of five standing in front of the visitor center! It may not be temple square, but the lights and the live nativity seem pretty spectacular to me. Thank you for sharing the memories! Love you guys!
