BSOD

BSOD... What does it mean? Blue Screen of Death. Which is why there have been very few posts of late. Everytime we boot up the computer or wake it up from "sleep" mode it goes to the BSOD. Apparently the video card might be going. We had a 2 day spell without a blue screen but they started up again. Yesterday, I (Chad) discovered that there is a problem with the hard drive, a bad sector or something? The computer is only 3 years old. It is too young to die. Does anyone have suggestions or a spare $1000 lying around so we can purchase a new, "better" computer without crappy parts that only last as long as the warranty period?
