Our NH house in Etna was right across the street from the little Etna Library. These librarians were my first friends in NH and have become so dear to us. They are genuinely kind, sweet and wonderful. More than once, they took away my loneliness and homesickness with their kindness to me and the kids. Caroline even brought us dinner after we had Lydia and gave us a batch of delicious oatmeal cookies and a gift card to McDonalds for our move. Barbara always did the stories and songs and then Caroline did the art craft afterwards and a special art project on one Wed. a month for the older kids. Caroline would also send extra art supplies home with me for Kate since she knew Kate would enjoy doing the craft she missed while she was at school. These ladies are just the best and gave us a nice Etna Library tote so we will always remember them when we go get books!
Eli with Caroline and Lydia with Barbara
Barbara did a special individual story time for Eli the morning before we left since Lydia slept through story time that day and we were late. We love these ladies!

You're right Wendi. I am so grateful for those ladies and that little library. Sometimes, when you were first in NH, I could tell that that little building and Caroline and Barbara were a comfort to you when everything else seemed so different and foreign to you, it helped me too because I felt so helpless and so, so far away. Bless them, bless them, love those dear, dear friends.
